Annies Birthday Celebration!

For Annies 11th Birthday celebration a few weeks ago, she chose for us to go out to eat and she requested to spend the afternoon/evening doing some shopping at the Galleria Mall with her birthday money.

She chose Johnny Rockets for her birthday lunch. For those of you that do not have a Johnny Rockets restaurant in your area, it is a 50's style hamburger diner with mini jukeboxes on each table. It's a fun place to eat and they have amazing milkshakes!

I love this picture of Natalie and Bryan!

Bacon Cheeseburgers

After lunch we headed over the Galleria Mall for some shopping. Natalie came along with Annie and I. Annie had a lot of fun spending her birthday money. We paused in between shopping for a cookie break and then ate dinner at Aunt Annies Pretzel company- a favorite of Annies. Here is what she chose with her birthday money from us and her grandparents (thank-you)!

Annie is our Rabbit lover. She also loves webkinz! She had been wanting this signature bunny webkinz for a while now and was soooo excited when she found it at Justice in the mall! I love that while she has gotten old enough that she has outgrown the birthday party theme style birthdays that she used to love, and would rather visit the mall instead, she STILL loves things like Webkinz.

She also chose this smaller webkinz which is a St. Bernard Dog. If your not familiar with webkinz, each stuffed animal comes with a code attached to it and it unlocks an online world with an animated version of your stuffed animal. You name your animal and create a home for it. You need to care for it- feed it, wash it, etc. You play a lot of games to earn online coins to buy things for your animals home. I have to admit- I love webkinz too. It's a fun place and really a huge craze in recent years.

She found some silly bands, one set is glow in the dark.

Nail polish- one is glow in the dark.

Lip gloss

She bought these two horse necklaces.

She also bought a pair of shorts and two shirts (both of which have the color purple in them- her favorite color).

On Sunday- we celebrated at home with some birthday cake. This year she requested a Boston Creme Pie for her birthday.

Yes, my icing ran. I forgot to refrigerate it before icing the cake. It tasted yummy though! ;-) She is wearing here one of her new shirts that she bought with her birthday money.

She had a really fun 11th Birthday!

Blast From the Past~ Week 2

This weeks Blast From the Past features our Ally Suzanne girl who turned 7 on New Years Eve.

Out of all of our kids she was born with the least amount of hair and today has the curliest hair of any of us. She also has the most energy of any of us and has from the very start.

Ally is a huge water bug- has been from the get go.

Look at those adorable chubby legs!

1 year old!

Her I refuse to wear pants stage which lasted about 6 months.

For a couple of years, it was all about Minnie and Mickey Mouse!

Dressing herself. *Grin*

She has always loved anything that involves getting messy and she loves the color purple! Combine those two and you have one very happy Ally girl. *Grin*
