Montgomery Zoo Visit

On Mothers Day, our family spent the day at the Montgomery Zoo. It had been a while since our family had visited a zoo and the Montgomery Zoo is one of our favorites here in Alabama because the majority of it is set up in a safari style. The animals have so much more room to roam around than your typical zoo gives.

My favorite!

Bryan & Houston's favorite!

Note- Camden is the only one that hasn't yet passed me by. I will one day soon be the shortest in our family!

Natalie's favorite!

The bird aviary was fun but if you have a phobia of birds landing on you, then you wouldn't like it.

Gives new meaning to bird call!

Notice the ostrich eggs! They don't look like it in this picture but they are huge!

All four girls rode the skyline that goes across the zoo. You ride over some of the animals which is really cool!

Never too old to swing.

Orange Beach Vacay ~ {Part 3}

Orange Beach sunrises are gorgeous!

One of the things that amazed me was how many seashells the beach had! California beaches never had this many seashells! I was in seashell heaven!

This beach blanket was a wedding gift. It's gone from the west coast to east coast and now the Gulf of Mexico.

Kite flying on the beach.

We went out to dinner at Tacky Jack's, a restaurant on the marina one evening.

Our attempt at a family picture through the mirror at dinner.

On our last morning at the beach, we tried some beignets, a French pastry that originated out of New Orleans. Their was a shop across the street from our condo that sold them. It was really fun getting to try this breakfast that I had heard so much about.

Beignets for breakfast!

Check out the gigantic conch shell that Camden found on our last morning walk along the beach!

And this baby shell that Houston found.

Emmy & Annie went down and got Henna tattoos during our beach trip. Henna's are temporary tattoos that wear off after a few weeks.

We had a fun surprise on our last evening on the beach. A pod of dolphins swam by close to shore while we were taking our family pictures.

Our last sunset at Orange Beach.
