Santa Land!

Every year, right before Christmas, we head out to Leeds, AL to visit the Bass Pro Shop and visit Santa. We have a tradition of getting ice cream for lunch from the old fashioned ice cream parlor after visiting with Santa. Here are a few pictures of our afternoon of fun from this year.

Family Photo Shoot!

Right before Thanksgiving a dear friend of mine who is a photographer did a photo shoot of our family. It was a dream come true for me as I have always desired to have a photo shoot done in the park in the fall. My friend Allison from Allison Shirley Photography made that dream come true! If you received one of our Christmas cards then you have seen a couple of the photos. Here are our favorites from the photo shoot.

And one of Bryan being goofy which cracked us all up!

This was our Christmas card this year.

A huge thank you to Alli for doing our photos. It was such a fun time and we love them!

Some December Fun!

Every December the teachers from the kids ballroom dance class host a Christmas ball. Here are a few pictures from this years ball but first a selfie picture that the girls took while getting ready for the dance.

Our four beautiful girls. From left to right- Natalie, Annie, Emmy-Anne, and Ally.

We took the kids to see the festival of lights at Oak Mountain this year. They have been doing the festival for a few years now but this was our first time to go. It was fun to see.

As you are driving into the festival. It was so pretty!

You drive slow through the lights but it was still hard to get a picture that was not blurry.

This snowman along with other lights was put to music. You set your radio to a certain station that coordinated with the light displays.

We had our annual Polar Express Night again this year. We watch a lot of Christmas movies throughout the month of December, many multiple times. We always save the Polar Express for our special night though.

We kicked it off with North Pole pancakes for breakfast.

My attempt at a train pizza. Didn't turn out to great but the kids enjoyed it.

Our usual North Pole cupcakes for dessert.

And of course, hot chocolate! The hot chocolate scene is our favorite part of the movie.
