Ohio Part 1~ {July 2018}

We drove up to the Columbus, Ohio area for a week because four of our kids competed in the SASP National Championship. We stayed at a really nice KOA campground about 30 minutes north of Columbus and enjoyed site-seeing around the area during the week. We fell in love with Ohio while there!

Road trips equal a full car for our family!

Their birth state!

This was our home away from home for the week- the trailer we rented at the KOA campground in Sunbury, Ohio.

Our camper sat next to a pond so we had fun fishing and canoeing during the week.

Vacation Bible School

A few weeks ago was our Vacation Bible School at our church. The theme was Legos and Building God's Kingdom. We are a some what small church but ended up with around 120 kids that came and over 70 volunteers from our church that made it happen. The kids moved around between 4 stations, bible, recreation, missions/snacks, and craft, during the 3 hours with us. We split the kids up into 12 colored teams by ages. The older teens and junior high aged students were able to be team leaders who lead the kids from one station to another and helped them participate. It was a great week of learning more about how we can build God's kingdom.

Throughout the week the kids brought in items to donate to a local ministry (food bank) that our church helps. It was made to be a competition between the boys and girls. At the end of the week over 500 items had been collected to donate!

The boys ended up bringing more items than the girls so Ms. Reagan got a pie in the face on Friday.

So thankful for such a wonderful week of learning more about God's word and kingdom.
